Tourism is Tropical North Queensland's most important industry. The support and growth of the tourism industry is vital to the prosperity of every business in TNQ. When our tourism industry does well, we all benefit.

- Tourism is worth $2.6 billion per annum to the region's economy.
- Tourism is estimated to generate over 40% region's export earnings from overseas and elsewhere in Australia.
- Tourism directly employs approximately 15,000 people in Tropical North Queensland.
- Tropical North Queensland welcomes almost 2.1 million visitors each year.

As the region's peak Destination Marketing Organisation TTNQ's key objective is to build destination awareness in Australia and selected international markets through a targeted program of marketing activities to achieve maximum numbers and expenditure. Your support helps TTNQ continue to promote our region to the world as the tropical destination of choice, which helps drive business through your doors to build a stronger economy for Tropical North Queensland.

As a membership based organisation Tourism Tropical North Queensland welcomes feedback and suggestions from you, our members. It helps us ensure we are providing the best possible services and benefits as we work with you to promote Cairns & Great Barrier Reef region to our domestic and international markets and build a strong tourism industry for the benefit of the entire region.
Membership with TTNQ
The membership structure within Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) consists of five (5) different levels of membership:....
- Supporter
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
(Supporter being the lowest level and Platinum being the highest level of membership available).

Membership Application Fee $110 (Incl GST)
Annual Membership with Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) covers financial year, 1st July to 30th June. To enable a smooth application process, please pay the full membership and application fees when you submit the application form. New membership applications are passed before the TTNQ Board of Directors for final approval.
Membership Payment Options
TTNQ accepts payment in the form of cash, cheque, money order and electronic funds transfers. We also accept online Master card, Visa and Amex, payments.
Annual Membership Renewal
TTNQ Membership covers the financial year and is due for renewal on the 1st of July of each year. Invoices are issued on a 30 day account and posted to the operator.
Membership paid after the due date will attract a late payment fee & will be treated as a new member and require completion of application forms and board approval, also attracting the Membership Application Fee of $110.
